    OWIE!

My husband had his shoulder replaced in November of 2008. He is doing well with his physical therapy and has a lot of mobility back. I think he feels much better now.

I guess it probably doesn't look like it from this photo with the staples. Of course they are long gone and this is healed.

This is what his shoulder looks like now. The socket is made from a clear plastic so it doesn't show up in the x-rays. Thanks Dr. Mike.

Of course after that in December he had a pulmonary embolism and DVT and was in the hospital for a week. So now he has a filter near his heart that will come out on February 25th. Hopefully this will be the last hospital visit for him for a long time.

My oh My.....your husband sure has been busy!  Those stitches sure look like Owies.  I know that they have been healed by now.  Update on me a bit...my husband has joined the ranks of the unemployed when his trucking company that he drove for closed their doors.  I have not been posting regular on Xanga since getting him used to being home full time has been an experience.  Fun having him home but he wants to organize EVERYTHING his way and that is a whole different outlook for me.  Not going to happen but I let him have his illusions .....or is it his disillusions.  My youngest is expecting a son about the 19 of July.  We are all so excited about having more babies in the family.  I really think grandchildren are the grandparents reward for having children.  Of course, I have always considered my children God's reward to me so grandchildren are like the cherry on top of the banana split.  Hopefully, I will get motivated to start posting on a regular basis though I do try to keep up with everyone elses blogs.
