see relatedDoes it just irk anyone else that Xanga insists that you are reading a book instead of watching a movie or DVD? For example the movie "Collision Course" in the below post makes no mention of the real stars of the movie, Jay Leno and Pat Morita. It is such a funny movie I recommend it to anyone.
Happy Birthday to my brother Fred! He turned 70 on Saturday. One of those people you would never know by looking or talking to him. Love You!
Green thumb..............
I'ts getting that time again and I can't wait. This gray weather depresses me to no end. I think I better move to a greener climate before I waste away. So now I'm getting ready to make my own green. I had a little garden last summer that I didn't even have to water because we had so much rain. As summer wound down I decided I wanted to plant some spinach. Realizing I had no seed I went on a quest which lead nowhere. I couldn't find spinach in any seed rack and it was to late to order it.
While shopping in Westlake's Ace Hardware the other day guess what I came across! Brand new seed ready for 2009.
Of course I couldn't buy just one pack of seed I had to find two. I have never planted Rosemary before but I love the way it smells.
Now I get to bring dirt inside my house and start seeds. A little potting soil never hurt anything right? I have been waiting for a few warm days so my soil can thaw out in the old chicken house which is now my garden shed. We had a few sunny days which lifted my spirits a little bit, but not enough to get me really going. So playing in the dirt will be therapy for a while.
What's your therapy?

It takes a looooooong time for rosemary to grow. It's a perennial. You might consider purchasing a plant as a backup plan if you have your heart set on rosemary this season.
I hear you on gray and the idea of starting seeds. I need to get some broccoli starts in the greenhouse, but I'm kinda depressed about all the work in front of me. There's just no denying it. I'm down. Not sure how to fix that.
